Lateral Entry to B.Tech. Programmes for Diploma holders
DTU LEET stands for Delhi technological University lateral entry entrance test. The Delhi Technological University conducts the lateral entry entrance test DTU LEET for direct admissions to the 3rd semester of 4 year BTech programmes offered by DTU under the lateral entry scheme. Through these diploma holders, candidates can enter into the second year of the undergraduate BTech programme.
The 4 year BTech programmes are offered under the lateral entry is Biotechnology (BT), Engineering Physics (EP), Environmental Engineering (ENE), Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (MAM), Polymer Science & Chemical, and Technology (PCT).
Format of DTU LEET (Full Time B.Tech. from DTU for Diploma Holders)
1. 2014 – No test for LEET students, Direct admission basis of merit in diploma % Marks – Total 29 seats in
DTU for diploma holders.
2. After 2014 – Written Test (Screening Test)
Test will be of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Basic Sciences.
3. Duration of Exam – 1 hour
